Tout part d'un album photo qui me suit depuis 25 ans dans lequel sont réunis les clichés que j'ai pris lors de l'été 1996 au cours d'un voyage à Rome avec un groupe d'amis qui deviendra le collectif de graffiti vandale le plus connu de Paris sous le nom UV (pour Ultra Violent).
Le livre retrace ce mois d'août passé à voler, peindre les métros, fumer des joints, emmerder les locaux et vivre. Le contenu est un mélange de graffiti et de photos de vacances traditionnelles (en face des monuments, au camping, dans les dépôts de métros ou dans les parcs...) et retranscrit ce moment éphémère de totale liberté liée à l'adolescence.
Cette publication a été entièrement réalisée à la main par mes amis des EDITIONS INFINIESdans un grand format atypique à spirales qui réinterprète les codes de l'album photo souvenir traditionnel.

It starts with hundreds of photos I took during the summer of 1996 in Rome and that I kept for 25 years in a cheap photo album. This summer trip in Italy with a group of friends will give birth to the infamous graffiti crew: UV (Ultra Violent).
The book is all about this month in August, spent camping in the Rome suburbs, stealing, painting subways, smoking weed, drinking cheap beers and harassing the locals. The photos are a mix of graffiti on the subway and traditional souvenir photos. It recreates the carefree teenage years when freedom was a real state of mind.
The publication was entirely handmade by my friends EDITIONS INFINIES. Using spirals and an atypical large size, we reinterpreted the typical travel photo album.
